KILLWHITNEYDEAD, the band you love to hate is back at it, yet again. Once having called Arizona home (though never having ever lived there) they have quickly become one of North Carolina’s biggest metal acts selling out shows all over the state and surrounding areas. Three critically acclaimed releases, a documentary/live DVD, their first ever tour (a US headlining tour to boot) during 7 weeks in the summer of 2006 have all brought KWD to this explosive point.The aptly titled, Nothing Less Nothing More, is their fourth album, and as expected, all that fans have come to adore in KWD; tales of retribution, blast beats, sound clips, scathing vocals, a plethora of solos and classic thrash metal. If you have had the privilege of catching KWD at any of their chaos filled live shows then you know that only vocalist/KWD mastermind, Matt, has remained from the band’s original line-up but fear not as constant touring has helped to solidify the new and improved KWD killing machine. Upon returning from the road the band (v3.0) entered The Basement Studios with their long time producer, Jamie King, and proceeded to churn out twenty three (23) new songs for fans to devour. Thirteen of the original twenty three wound up on Nothing Less Nothing More and the remaining tracks will be included on additional album entitled, Hell To Pay which will be for sale exclusively at the band’s live performances. With touring scheduled through-out the remainder of 2007 and their sights set on the UK, Europe and Australia all during 2008, KWD as promised several years ago, is set on world domination.
