Keith Caputo is back with a brand new album!
‘A Fondness For Hometown Scars’ demonstrates the fine craftsmanship of Keith´s intensely personal song-writing with this collection of bittersweet melodies and haunting songs.
‘A Fondness For Hometown Scars’ is Keith’s 4th solo album and strongest to date. Keith’s emotionally driven vocals spin fragile songs of anguish and hurt against glittering, tender, indie-pop and darker, driven, hard-edged riffs.
Guest musicians on the album include Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on trumpet, Gerry Leonard (a.o. David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright) and Craig Ross (a.o. Lenny Kravitz, Mick Jagger, Sheryl Crow).
Produced by: Martyn Lenoble, one of the founding members of Porno For Pyros. He has worked with a.o. Jane's Addiction, The Cult, Dave Gahan, Scott Weiland, Daniel Lanois.
Mixed by: Martyn Lenoble & Vincent jones (a.o. David Gahan, Morrissey, Cowboy Junkies, Monster Magnet).
Mastered by: George Marino (a.o. Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Metallica).
Keith will be touring Europe throughout 2008 as well as playing festivals this summer with his band Life Of Agony.
Keith became known with his band Life Of Agony, but has continued to develop his solo-career for the past seven years. In 2007 Keith received a lot of airplay as guest-singer on Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation’s hit single ‘What Have You Done’. He will be on stage with Within Temptation during their very special show with the Dutch Metropole Orkest in Ahoy on Thursday February 7th 2008. Keith and his band, The Sad Eyed Ladies, will also be the support for this gig.
