Die Leadsingle des Soundtracks singt Mika, produziert hat sie RedOne (Lady Gaga, Akon).
Die Song-lastige Filmmusik verbindet Elvis Presley und Ennio Morricone mit dem Punkrock der Dickies und New York Dolls und stellt den Alternative-Pop der Sparks neben den BigBeat von The Prodigy und Primal Scream.
Top-aktuelle Highlights sind der Song „Starry Eyed“ der Brit-Award-gekrönten UK-Indiepop-Newcomerin Ellie Goulding wie auch die Debütsingle von Taylor Momsens (Gossip Girls) neuer Band post-Grunge Band The Pretty Reckless namens „Make Me Wanna Die“ (erscheint regulär erst im Mai).
Zusätzliche Musik schrieb Marius de Vries („Moulin Rouge“, „Romeo and Juliet“). Zu hören sind auch Dialog-Snippets aus dem Film mit Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson und Chloe Moretz („500 Days of Summer“) in den Hauptrollen.
